This text is focused on the perception of artificial intelligence by future teachers of the first grade of primary schools. It is one of the most exciting and fast-growing fields. It influences many people in different workplaces. The main aim was to find out the attitudes of future primary school teachers to the artificial intelligence. The research sample consisted of university students in the field of teaching for the first grade of elementary schools. A research tool was divided into three elemental parts. The first part contained the introductory information where the purpose of the research investigation was discussed. The second part included demographic variables such as gender, age, form of study and place of residence. Lastly, the third part was the most extensive and contained a total of 76 Likert-type items. The methods of descriptive, inductive and multivariate statistics were used. It was found that the future teachers of the first grade of elementary schools show a relatively positive perception of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, it was also found that students are interested in the use of artificial intelligence in different areas, both in the work environment and in everyday life, and they assess the inclusion of artificial intelligence education into the curriculum vitae as important.
