This chapter, using a case-study approach, focuses on the assassination of Slovak investigative journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée committed in 2018 and explores the organisational support provided to journalists following the event. It answers two research questions: (1) What organisational support did the Slovak investigative journalists receive from their news organisations to help them cope with the murder of their colleague? (2) How did journalists perceive and evaluate this organisational support, and what type of support, if any, did they lack?
