V říjnu 2022 byl v European Heart Journal publikován konsenzus expertů o lipoproteinu(a) [Kronenberg et al. Lipoprotein( a) in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and aortic stenosis: a European Atherosclerosis Society consensus statement. Eur Heart J 2022; 43(39): 3925–3946]. Výbor České společnosti pro aterosklerózu (ČSAT) vypracoval na jeho základě následující souhrn nejdůležitějších informací pro českou odbornou veřejnost. Tento souhrn v českém jazyce ovšem nenahrazuje originální publikovaný konsenzus, a zájemcům o detailní znění proto doporučujeme k prostudování původní kompletní text. Číslování referencí v hranatých závorkách v tomto Stanovisku odpovídá původní publikaci.

In October 2022, an expert consensus on lipoprotein(a) was published in the European Heart Journal [Kronenberg et al. Lipoprotein( a) in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and aortic stenosis: a European Atherosclerosis Society consensus statement. Eur Heart J 2022; 43(39): 3925-3946]. The Committee of the Czech Society for Atherosclerosis (CSAT) developed the following summary of the most important information for the Czech professional community. However, this summary in the Czech language does not replace the original published consensus, and those interested in the detailed text are therefore recommended to read the original full text. The numbering of references in square brackets in this Opinion corresponds to the original publication.
