Další vzdělávání je důležitou součástí celoživotního učení člověka a má mnoho interpretací, které souvisejí se společenským uspořádáním, historickým vývojem, ale i typem organizace, ve které se další vzdělávání odehrává. V případě pedagogických pracovníků je kladen důraz především na osobnostní kompetence, které obsahují postoje a hodnotové orientace, psychickou a fyzickou zdatnost, dovednosti a sociální schopnosti.

The continuing educacion is an important component of lifelong learning and is has many interpretations associated with the social arrangement, historical development, but also with the type of organization in which the training takes place. In the case of teaching staff, the focus is on personal competences, which include attitudes and value orientation, mental anf physical abilities, skills and social skills.
