In the original language
Paper presents results of comparative analysis focused on some factors of strategic management (centralization versus decentralization of decisioning, strategy formulation, type of strategy followed by subsidiaries, perception of market environment etc.) of MNCs subsidiaries located in the Czech Republic, namely comparison of subsidiaries operating in basic and fabricated metal products manufacturing industry and subsidiaries from other industries. The comparison, in some cases supported by statistically confirmed significance, reveals that behaviour and perception within strategic management of subsidiaries belonging to different industries differs.
