N2 - We introduce new variant of P colonies that we call P colony rw-automaton - a theoretical model from the membrane computing model family. Its inspiration comes from nature and the structure and functioning of living organisms. The model is formed from agents - a collection of objects embedded in a membrane, equipped with programs to manipulate objects. The agents share objects placed on the tape and in the environment. In this paper, we focus on natural number encoding and sorting of positive natural numbers by an algorithm similar to Bead sort executed by the P colony rw-automata.
