Tematika handicapu zůstává v české literatuře pro děti a mládež ve druhé polovině 20. století opomíjenou. Teprve v posledním dvacetiletí se téma handicapu znovu vynořuje a je zpracováváno v rozmanitých žánrových formách a s ohledem na různé věkové kategorie nedospělých recipientů. V tvorbě současných autorů je handicap součástí hrdinovy identity.
In English
The topic of handicap was neglected in the Czech literature for children and youth in the second half of the 20th century. Only in the past two decades the topic of handicap has been emerging again and has been treated in various genre forms and with regard to various age categories of non-adult recipients. Handicap in literary works of contemporary authors is part of the main characters identity.
