Napoleonův malíř v Itálii)", který publikovalo Národní muzeum na zámcích Malmaison a Bois-Préau (Musée national des châteaux Malmaison et Bois-Préau) a organizace Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais v Paříži. Středobodem výstavního projektu se stala osobnost a dílo milánského malíře Andrea Appianiho (1754–1818), předního představitele italské školy doby neoklasicismu, který byl angažován na Napoleonově dvoře v metropoli Lombardie.

A book review of the catalogue for the exhibition "Appiani. Le peintre de Napoléon en Italie (Appiani. Napoleon's Painter in Italy)," published by the National Museum at the Malmaison and Bois-Préau Chateaus (Musée national des châteaux Malmaison et Bois-Préau) and the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais in Paris. The focus of the exhibition project was the personality and work of the Milanese painter Andrea Appiani (1754–1818), a leading figure of the Italian school of the Neoclassical period, who was engaged at Napoleon's court in the Lombard capital.
