Workshop title: Economics of Gender Objectives: The workshop intends to give students a basic understanding of how socioeconomic factors influence females in the labor markets. The speaker will focus on gender and wage equality and its importance in social and employment opportunities. The workshop will conclude with the speaker’s own recent research on gender equality in the labour markets. Methodology: The workshop method is mostly descriptive and has a few basic analytical parts. It involves an amicable discussion between the speaker and the audience. The speaker welcomes all participating students to ask questions during and after the workshop. Outcome: At the end of the workshop, students will understand how socioeconomic elements distinctly influence both genders in labor market opportunities.
