Čas internetu a on-line vyhledávání s sebou přináší i Jana Amose Komenského ve virtuálním světě. Učinili jsme tak i my a našli jsme spousty organizací, institucí a informací, které nesou jméno věhlasného pedagoga, teologa, filozofa, politologa … a předávají tak jeho myšlenky v moderní společnosti a lze z nich čerpat a být jimi inspirován. Nechceme zde interpretovat důkazy, ale spíše upozornit na zásadní vliv Komenského, jehož tvorba dala nový význam a směr nejen oblasti vzdělávání v různých zemích. V tomto příspěvku se tedy zaměříme na myšlenku vzdělání a to nejen v obecné rovině, ale též s hledem na speciální pedagogiku pro kterou je a bude Komenský inspirací. Každý z nás má alespoň malé povědomí o tom, kdo to Jan Amos Komenský byl. Ale víme, v jaké míře přispěl k podobě školy, jak ji známe dnes? A co si můžeme z jeho pedagogického smýšlení odnést do naší profese?

The time of the Internet and online search brings with it Jan Amos Comenius in the virtual world. We have done the same, and we have found many organizations, institutions and information that bear the name of a renowned educator, theologian, philosopher, political scientist… and thus pass on his ideas in modern society and can be drawn from and inspired by them. We do not want to interpret the evidence here, but rather to draw attention to Comenius' fundamental influence, whose work gave new meaning and direction not only to the field of education in various countries. In this paper, we will focus on the idea of education, not only in general, but also with a view to special pedagogy for which Comenius is and will be an inspiration. Each of us has at least a little awareness of who Jan Amos Comenius was. But do we know to what extent he contributed to the shape of the school as we know it today? And what can we take from his pedagogical thinking to our profession?
