The monograph deals with theoretical issues of forensic biomechanics, experimental methods and experimental results. A large part is devoted to the history of forensic biomechanics, both world and Czech. The monograph focuses on the biomechanics of falling from a height and falling from a standing position on a mat, as well as extreme stress on the body and the biomechanics of shaken baby syndrome. A significant part is devoted to the possibilities of computer simulation in forensic biomechanics as the equivalent of a forensic experiment.
