V originále
Myšlení patří mezi kognitivní funkce, zaměřuje se na zpracování a využití informací z paměti či pozornosti. Myšlení řeší nejrůznější problémy, což jsou skutečnosti nespadající do baterie individuální zkušeností v oblasti myšlenkových postupů jedince s hledáním výsledného řešení. Problémová situace je natolik obtížná (nestandardní), že ji nelze vyřešit dosud používaným a nacvičeným způsobem, ale vyžaduje zamyšlení se nad situací, zvažování okolností (souvislostí) i důsledků a hledání nového způsobu přizpůsobeného cíli a možnostem jedince.
In English
Thinking is a cognitive function, but unlike, for example, memory, it focuses on processing and utilizing information from memory or attention. Thinking solves all sorts of problems, which are facts that do not fall within the scope of the individual's individual experience in the field of thought processes of an individual in finding a final solution. The problem situation is so difficult (non-standard) that it cannot be solved in the way used and practiced so far, but it requires just reflection on the situation, consideration of circumstances (consequences) and consequences and finding a new way adapted to the individual's goal and capabilities.
