Příspěvek se zabývá komparací dalšího vzdělávání pedagogických pracovníků v České republice a v Nizozemsku. Obě tyto země mají v této oblasti podobný základ, avšak v mnohém se i liší. V Nizozemsku je jeho úroveň vysoká a školy zde mají v tomto ohledu větší možnosti a svobodnější rozhodování. Naopak v České republice je poněkud zastaralé a nedokáže úplně reagovat na vzdělávací potřeby učitelů, které po nich dnešní doba vyžaduje. Z toho důvodu je aktuálně snaha jej více rozvíjet a modernizovat. Komparace dalšího vzdělávání pedagogických pracovníků v těchto dvou zemích tak bude mít přínos pro praxi a může pomoci obohatit jeho stávající podobu v České republice o nové prvky.

This contribution deals with comparison of further education of teachers in the Czech Republic and in the Netherlands. The foundations of this area are similar in both countries, nevertheless there actually exist many different aspects to be taken into account. The level of further education of teachers in Netherlands is generally high, which is also due to the large amount of resources given to the schools as well as to more liberal decision-making processes. In the Czech Republic, on the other hand, the system is less able to react on current education needs of teachers, which are strongly required by contemporary historical period. This situation generates a natural focus on development and on medernization of the system. Therefore, the Comparison of further education of teachers within these two countries range, should contribute to the improvement of the pedagogy practice in the Czech Republic through enrichment of its current status by new elements.
