Obsahově monografie zahrnuje analýzu několika období: je to samotná 2. světová válka, její příčiny a průběh, období fungování bipolarity, včetně identifikace klíčových faktorů relativní stability, a nakonec vývoj po jejím rozpadu v 90. letech, vyúsťující do chaosu přelomu tisíciletí. Analýza události jednotlivých fází zahrnuje historickou, mezinárodně politickou, ekonomickou a teoreticko-metodologickou dimenzi. Monografie se skládá z 11 kapitol.

The content of the monograph includes an analysis of several periods: World War II itself, its causes and course, the period of functioning of bipolarity, including the identification of key factors of relative stability, and finally the development after its collapse in the 1990s, resulting in chaos at the turn of the millennium. The analysis of the events of the individual phases includes a historical, international political, economic and theoretical-methodological dimension. The monograph consists of 11 chapters.
