Abstract
OBJECTIVES: Main purpose of the text is research of the influence of social service workers, especially personal assistents with ethical code. How is ethic code useable while dealing with ethical dilemmas in relation to the performance of this profession. Further we search for familliarity with ethical code between those assistents. THEORETICAL BASE: In their almost each daily routine are personal assistents facing particular ethical questions. Their realization, searching for answers and wondering about the questions in general, it requires neccesary care and time. METHODS: To answer above mentioned questions was used quantitative research strategy - through questionnaire. Data were processed from 105 questionnaires which were filled by workers at social services. OUTCOMES: We found out that moral orientation of workers at social services is appropriate key for ethical dilemma processing. The research proved that there is a need of deeper orientation in this profession meanwhile still keeping the focus on relation with the customer of the service and organization itself. This interest is linked with practical use and the knowledge of ethical code but also value of the social service. SOCIAL WORK IMPLICATIONS: Reflection of ethical aspects may contribute to improvment of provided social services, more precisely to professionalism of the profession or strengthening professional competencies.
