Abstract
V knize najdete kompletního průvodce světem, kde Airbnb oživuje mrtvý kapitál a konkuruje státu ve tvorbě regulací, kde Kickstarter nahrazuje vybírání daní a pomáhá financovat veřejné služby a kde Bitcoin umožňuje budovat paralelní společnost, v níž neexistují žádní šéfové.
Abstract (in English)
Progress without permission is about the clash of 21st century digital technologies with the world of 20th century institutions. In the book, you will find a complete guide to a world where Airbnb revives dead capital and competes with the state in regulation, where Kickstarter replaces tax collection and helps finance public services, and where Bitcoin allows you to build a parallel society in which there are no bosses. At the same time as the newspapers write that the shared economy is taking the job of taxi drivers, Uber is working to improve its own private regulation in an effort to protect consumers. Or when analysts complain that eBay and Amazon are pushing out brick-and-mortar stores, these online platforms act as the largest courts in the world. The progress that the Internet brings is thus not only competing with analogue entrepreneurs and brick-and-mortar stores, but above all with the world of laws, officials and politicians.
