Odsun německého obyvatelstva ze Slezska v letech 1945 až 1947 zásadně proměnil zdejší národnostní skladbu. Původně dominantní německé etnikum téměř zmizelo a bylo nahrazeno pestrou koláží obyvatelstva různých národností, jež se ve Slezsku usadilo. Cílem workshopu je představit stávající stav výzkumu menšinové problematiky v tomto regionu a nastolit témata, která by měla být v průběhu dalšího zkoumání reflektována.
In English
The expulsion of the German population from Silesia from 1945 to 1947 has fundamentally transformed the local ethnic composition. The originally dominant German ethnicity almost disappeared and was replaced by a varied collage of the population of various nationalities that settled in Silesia. The aim of the workshop is to present the current state of minority research in this region and to raise topics that should be reflected in further research.
