Cílem příspěvku je vymezit vztah mezi spiritualitou a ošetřovatelstvím z různých perspektiv, včetně role sestry při poskytování spirituální péče pacientům, povahu duchovního vztahu mezi sestrou a pacientem a historický vliv spirituality na ošetřovatelství. Příspěvek je zpracovaný na základě analýzy literatury zabývající se filozofickými základy ošetřovatelství.

The purpose of this paper is to define the relationship between spirituality and practice of nursing from the number of perspectives, including the nurse’s role in the provision of spiritual care, the spiritual nature of the nurse-patient relationship and the historical impact of spirituality on the nursing profession. The paper is based on an analysis of literature dealing with the philosophical foundations of nursing.
