Cílem příspěvku je upozornit na specifika celiakie v populaci žen. Ženy mají vyšší riziko onemocněním celiakií. Strauch a kol. (2011) identifikuje poměr onemocnění 3:1, Frič, Keil (2011) udává riziko 2:1. V ženském pohlaví může hrát celiakie roli rovněž v pozdním nástupu menstruace, v příčinách nevysvětlitelné neplodnosti, infertility a poruchách vývoje plodu.

The aim of this paper is to point out the specifics of celiac disease in the female population. Women have a higher risk of celiac disease. Strauch et al. (2011) identifies disease ratio 3: 1, Fric, Keil (2011) describes the risk 2: 1. Regarding the female gender, celiac disease can play a role in late onset of menstruation, in the causes of unexplained sterility and infertility diaorders and fetal development.
