The conference was held under the auspices of Ing. Tomáš Nidetzký, Member of the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank. The conference was focused on the present state and future development of EU financial markets in the overall context of internationalization and globalization. The conference tackled some of the key topics viewed from theoretical and practical perspectives: a) Latest trends in the development of the EU financial markets, b) Current regulation of EU financial markets and its impact on the Czech Republic, c) The processes of integration and disintegration in world economy, d) The V4 countries viewed from the perspective of integration and globalization processes, e) Brexit and its potential impact on the financial markets of the EU member states, f) Latest trends in banking and insurance industry in the EU countries, g) Analyses of the EU financial markets’ infrastructures. These topics were discussed in 3 blocs on the 1st day and in 1 bloc on the 2nd day.
