This multimedial handbook on Spanish metrics is aimed to students of the course Métrica espaňola, but not only to them. Apart from the explanations, the handbook offers recordings of the poems used as examples, a dictionary of terms, and interactive exercises at the end of each chapter. The student gets the basic knowledge of metrics, but also the capability of thinking about the verse in a historical and comparative context.
