Kolektivní monografie o jednom z nejvýznamnějších německých historiků z českých zemí, Hermannu Hallwichovi. Teplický rodák byl celým svým životem i tvorbou spjat se severozápadními Čechami. Příspěvky českých a rakouských historiků líčí jeho působení jako historika, politika, člověka spjatého s podnikatelskými kruhy (činnost ve svazu rakouských průmyslníků), ale též literáta, sběratele apod.

Collective monography on one of the most important German historians from the Czech lands, Hermann Hallwich. Native from Teplice his whole life and work connected with the northwest Bohemia. Posts Czech and Austrian historians recounts his work as a historian, politician, a man linked to the business community (the activity in the Association of Austrian Industrialists), but also a writer, collector, etc.
