Author defines pastoral servise as care on the part of the community od Christians for the growth of spirituality of its memebers and people who are sincerely seeking the spiritual dimension of the world. Pastoral care helps young people to cope better with or overcome actual difficult situations, but above all its helps them to develop spiritually and care for their own identity. Finally author looks at the problem of religious sects form the pastoral point of view and sketches out a way to tackle it.
