Autor vymezuje pastorační službu jako péči společenství křesťanů o růst spirituality svých členů a lidí, kteří upřímně hledají duchovní rozměr světa. Pastorační péče napomáhá mladým lidem nejen mírnit či překonávat aktuální tíživé situace, ale především jim pomáhá rozvíjet se duchovně a pečovat o vlastní identitu. V závěru autor nahlíží problém sektářství a nastíněna cesta k jeho řešení.

Author defines pastoral servise as care on the part of the community od Christians for the growth of spirituality of its memebers and people who are sincerely seeking the spiritual dimension of the world. Pastoral care helps young people to cope better with or overcome actual difficult situations, but above all its helps them to develop spiritually and care for their own identity. Finally author looks at the problem of religious sects form the pastoral point of view and sketches out a way to tackle it.
