Tento článek se zabývá vztahem mezi moderní vědou a metafyzikou v tradičním smyslu slova. Ukazujeme, že navzdory tradičnímu pozitivismu přírodních věd je stále produktivní věda spjata s metafyzickou spekulací, která vytyčuje cíle a hodnoty poznávacího procesu.

The article is concerned with the contemporary relation between metaphysics and especially natural sciences. We conclude that some kind of metaphysical intuition is still present in modern scientific theories.
