Cílem tohoto článku je navrhnutí nové ontologie matematických objektů, která by zároveň uspokojovala naše rozporné intuice právě ohledně ontologického statutu matematických abstrakt. Provádíme kritiku tradičního platónského pojetí a navrhujeme pojetí založené na Whiteheadově metafyzice, které by více uspokojovalo naturalistickou intuici.

The aim of the article is to propose another possible intepretation of the ontological status of mathematical entities. The traditional Platonic view is criticized and proved to be untenable. We tried to formulate new ontology of abstract objects which allows to bridge the gap between abstract objects and concrete occasions of our physical world. Our new ontology is fundamentally based on Whitehead's philosophy of nature.
