Příspěvek je filosofickou reflexí nad vztahem společenských norem vůči handicapu. Zpracování tématu se opírá o varující pohled Michel Paul Foucaulta vzhledem k racionálně a vědecky stanovovaným normám a z nich vyplývajícího pojetí moci. Reflexe nebezpečné biomoci, vykreslená na základě Foucaultova díla, je pak stavěna do opozice k chápání normativnosti v současné post strukturálně nastavené západní společnosti, která se snaží o inkluzi handicapovaných do majority.
In English
The paper reflects from a philosophical point of view the relation of a society’s norms towards disability. The assessment is based on Michel Foucault’s approach to racionally and analytically set norms in a society and on his onderstanding of power that results from it. The reflextion of biopower based on Foucault’s work is put in contrast with contemporary western post-structural society’s understanding of normality as this society is nowaday making an effort for inclusion of disabled people into majority.
