Die Studie analysiert die Hauptstromungen in der Diskussion der tschechischen Lehrerschaft betreffend die Fragen ihrer nationalen und profesionnlen Lehrerschaft. Die Analyse beruht auf den represenatativen Zeitungen und Zeitschriften der tschechischen Lehrerschft in der betreffenden Zeitperiode - letzten Drittels des 19. Jhrs. Im Vordergrund steht die Analyse von den Lehrervereinsaktivitaeten, den Lehrerversammlungszielen und den Lehrervereinsprogrammen.

The article analyzes the issues of professional and national emancipation of the Czech teachers in the context of the process of national emancipation of nations in Habsburg monarchy and in the context of the dynamics of professionalization of the teaching profession in the last 19th century. Some representative teaching journals are selected to be analyzed. In the foreground there is the reconstruction of dominant national professional discourses by the Czech teachers in a given period - with regard to their social activities and regular teachers' congress.
