Příspěvek je sociologickou analýzou mapující vnitřní konflikty v rámci hnutí ISKCON jako projevy rozporů spojených se způsobem, jakým byla tato moderní náboženská tradice konstruována od svých počátků v Bengálsku 19. století, a které představovaly, paradoxně, důležité podmínky možnosti přenosu této tradice do západních společností.
In English
Presentation is a sociological analysis of internal conflicts within the ISKCON movement. It argues that these conflicts are results of inner contradictions which were inbuilt into this tradition since its beginnings in the 19th century Bengal. It furthermore suggests that these contradictions are important parts of the tradition which made its acculturation in Western societies possible.
