Abstract

In the original language

The Battlefield of Austerlitz is inseparably connected with the "Battle of Three Emperors" and is still regarded today as a site of memory, while this territory can also be considered as a gently undulating Moravian landscape between Brno and Slavkov, which on December 2, 1805, found itself on the line of military confrontation between armies and rulers representing two different worlds. This is indicated by military, political and cultural aspects, which have been the subject of research. This text focuses on these aspects with an emphasis on the cultural framework of the issue being studied.
